Description
Chapped Lips ~ 1971 my lips felt dry and meeting people made me feel self conscious. This feeling gave me the idea for a painting where everyone walked around in a social jungle with chapped lips. Together we starred at each others lips and walked away knowing we are all the same.

Cool creation, cool description; reminds me of when my son was young and him and his friends would lick their lips and get the most aweful chapped lips, LOL! F/V/Tweet & folloW!

I'm re-visiting this very appealing painting, James! Just noticed your response on my last comment... that at some time we all get chapped list to remind us that we need a kiss! What a lovely thought when we feel self conscious and ugly! :-)
